When Alice and Kraggy married at Kin House in Wiltshire, they wanted their wedding to feel immersive, stylish and full of incredible moments for their guests. During the drinks reception and evening celebrations, I was invited to bring my Wedding Witch tarot experience to the day, providing readings for guests inside one of Britain's most beautiful wedding venues.

The atmosphere at Kin House lends itself beautifully to stylish and eccentric celebrations. There is something wonderfully cinematic about the house. It has a distinctly Saltburn-esque appeal; grand, playful and decadent. In fact, during his speech, Alice's father joked that the reception could easily go off on a Saltburn-style tangent if everyone wasn't careful, much to the amusement of guests and staff.
Alice and Kraggy's Kin House wedding was later featured in Vogue under the headline "The Bride Wore Vivienne Westwood." Their celebration was full of thoughtful details, creativity and alternative entertainment, from local Morris dancers to bespoke wedding tarot readings.
A Bespoke Wedding Tarot Experience Inspired by Beltane
When Alice and Kraggy first contacted me about their Kin House wedding, it was immediately clear that they wanted something to reflect them as a couple.
They described the atmosphere they wanted to create as the climax of spring, with the strapline "one party closer to eternity" combined with a folk-horror aesthetic that felt atmospheric rather than frightening. Their wedding took place over the Beltane weekend, making themes of renewal, growth and celebration a natural source of inspiration.
To reflect this, I created a bespoke proposal outside of my usual wedding packages.
I designed a custom tarot spread based upon the couple's numerology, which also incorporated their beloved dog Disco, who sadly couldn't attend the wedding.
Woof!
I also wanted my tarot table to reflect the couple's carefully curated aesthetic. Two vintage 1920s vases were filled with tulips, echoing the flowers featured throughout the wedding stationery, designed by Kraggy himself.
Throughout the planning process, I found myself repeatedly returning to Flora, the Roman Goddess of Spring. Themes of abundance, fertility, renewal and joyful transformation became the foundation of the readings I offered throughout the day.
The imagery associated with Flora felt perfectly aligned with the wedding itself. Artistic depictions of the goddess are overflowing with tulips and wild spring flowers; motifs that were echoed throughout Alice and Kraggy's celebration and brought spectacularly to life by the floral designers at Filth.
Wedding Tarot at Kin House
Kin House provides a wonderful setting for wedding tarot. Its interiors feel both decadent and rural rustic, depending on which room you are in - creating the perfect atmosphere for thoughtful one-to-one readings.
The ceremony was conducted by one of Alice and Kraggy's close friends after which guests gathered on the lawn for drinks. Beneath the shade of a magnificent fir tree, I set up my tarot table and welcomed the first guests for readings.

Under the dappled sunshine, guests intrigued by the cards encouraged one another to take a seat. Conversations sprang up between strangers and the readings soon became one of the talking points of the day.
As guests moved into the ballroom at Kin House for the wedding breakfast, I relocated my tarot table to a snug adjoining room. Surrounded by velvet furnishings, candlelight and crystals, it felt like the perfect hidden corner of the house in which to continue the readings.
Throughout the evening, guests continued to seek out readings, returning with friends and family members eager to experience them for themselves.
What the Couple and Guests Said
One of the loveliest things about providing wedding tarot is hearing the feedback afterwards.
Several guests remarked that the readings had become "the talk of the wedding", while others messaged me later on Instagram saying:
"You were brilliant. Thank you so much for my reading."
Alice later wrote:
"THE BEST addition to our perfect day."
Meanwhile, Kraggy shared:
"We treasured our reading and the amazing experiences you gave our guests."
Feedback like this means the world because it reflects exactly what wedding tarot is intended to do: create meaningful moments that become part of the memories guests take home with them.
